This is not busywork. Every item on this list removes a future roadblock. Check them off before you move to Module 1.
Your Checklist:
Your Domain
- You own a domain name for your business
- It is connected to your platform or parked and ready
- It is short, simple and easy to spell out loud
Your Platform
- You have chosen your platform (if not, go back to Lesson 1)
- Your account is created and you can log in
- You can see your site in edit mode
Your Brand Basics
- You have a business name
- You have a general sense of who you serve
- You have at least one way for people to contact you (email is enough)
Your Discovery Form
- Fill out the discovery questionnaire before you open Module 1
- It takes about ten minutes. Your Website Starter Pack will be in your inbox before Module 1 opens
- Go line by line. Read it out loud. Make it sound like you.
- The framework gets you started. You make it real.
Your Mindset
- Done beats perfect. I've got it on a sticky note on my monitor to remind me
